  • Nature of Business: Manufacturer, importer and general distributor of bikes sourced from Turkey and China sold in the Dutch market.
  • Object of Business Activities: With three brands; Vogue, Troy and Highlander provide wide selection of models, colors and sizes of bikes that suit the prospective market
  • Key Achievements: Reorganized the Bicycles Company worth 40million Euros, in the aftermath of the lawsuit between the two JV partners. Recruited necessary talent to implement order processing, aftersales, and collections efforts in the company

1993-2016            MERVAKS FOREIGN TRADING LTD, Istanbul -Turkey

  • Nature of Business: General Distributors and importers of Build-in Vacuum Systems in Turkey and in Turkic republics including Northern Cyprus. Installation and maintenance services are provided with great care.
  • Object of Business Activities: Vacu-Maid Central Vacuum Systems have been successfully introduced by Mervaks to the Turkish market.
  • Mostly known as with its corporate brand name “VACU-MAID” internationally
  • Key Achievements: Awareness and Recognition of the Central Vacuum System especially among the leading construction companies such as MESA, TEPE, NUROL, KORAY & SİYAHKALEM, Consequently became nr.1 brand.

1988- 1992            MARMARA TRANSPORT SHIPYARD A.Ş., Istanbul-Turkey

  • Directly reported to the Board of Türkpetrol Group of Companies
  • Worked very closely with all departments, local and international third party suppliers
  • Key Achievements: Marmara Shipyard was making loss and I strived to bring international orders to revive the business, until then limited to local demand. I found 3 major customers from Germany bringing a total order of DM 75m (Euro 37,5m). Furthermore, I fully modernized the shipyard (CAD/CAM) which was then in shambles


1979-1988        ERTEX TRADING B.V., Zeist - The Netherlands

Founder and General Manager

A trading company with a team of two involved with the export of earthmoving equipment, spare parts and scrap metal to Turkey and North Africa. Average yearly turnover was about 2.5 MM USD. Customers included major construction companies such as STFA, ENKA, BAYTUR, ELEKTROFER and ORPAŞ in Turkey. Profitability was in the order of 15%. Decided to terminate operations in 88’


1975-1979 RAM FOREIGN TRADING LTD, İstanbul- Turkey

Sales Coordinator, reporting to the Assistant General Manager


Responsible for chemicals trading with Swedish, Norwegian, West German and Dutch markets in borax decahydrate, caustic soda and boric acid. Total sales in this line was about US Dollars 1m. RAM; a Koç Holding Company (The largest conglomerate in Turkey), was the major exporting company (US Dollars 35m in sales)
